History of Luna Rossa perfume by Prada

This masculine fragrance was launched in 2012 and its designer is Daniela (Roche) Andrier. Prada’s inspiration has been sailing regattas which symbolize the values that this brand considers to be related to the sailing sport: effort, excellence, innovation, struggle and finally victory. Its name comes from the sailing team Luna Rossa Challenge, of which Prada is the creator and sponsor and which sails the world for the Circolo della Vela Sicilia club.

This perfume is not at all conventional. It’s fresh, for daily use but different than the rest. It has a very contemporary composition based on classic notes which revolve around a perfect balance of mint, lavender and amber. It’s a dynamic fragrance which doesn’t fall into the same old ruts, for today’s man who doesn’t sit still, who has a thousand things to do.

It belongs to the citrus family of aromas and has the force and strength of the natural elements. It’s a top-of-the-line fragrance, versatile, good for daily use, though it might stand out a little in an elegant date at night. In spite of everything, it’s elegant and refined, so it will help you stand out in your daily life.
